Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy covers cancellations, refunds, and equipment problems for rentals from Carolina Party Essentials. It works alongside our Rental Agreement & Terms of Service, which governs damage, cleaning, and late return charges.

Cancellations

  • Seven (7) or more days before your pickup or delivery date: full refund.
  • Fewer than seven (7) days before your pickup or delivery date: non-refundable.

To cancel, email info@carolinapartyessentials.com. The date we receive your email is the cancellation date.

Weather and events outside anyone's control

Outdoor events and Carolina weather don't always cooperate. If you cancel on the day of your event because of rain, storms, or other conditions beyond your control, we will issue store credit for the full amount, valid for 12 months from the date of issue, rather than a cash refund.

Store credit can be applied to any future rental. There is no charge to reschedule.

Equipment that fails or arrives faulty

If equipment is faulty on arrival, or stops working during your event through no fault of your own:

  • We will replace it with another unit if we have one in stock. We carry multiple units of most items, so a same-day swap is often possible.
  • If no replacement is available, you receive a full refund for that item. The rest of your booking stands.

Tell us as soon as a problem appears — call (765) 760-7199. We can't replace or refund equipment we only hear about after your event has ended.

What this policy does not cover

This policy covers money paid for your rental. It does not affect charges assessed under the Rental Agreement for equipment returned dirty, damaged, late, or not at all. Those are governed by Sections 7 and 8 of the Rental Agreement, along with its published fee and replacement cost schedules.

How refunds are issued

Approved refunds go back to the original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank. Store credit is issued immediately by email.
